Toronto fans at Dodger Stadium went completely wild after huge Blue Jays win

The hottest club in Los Angeles appears packed with Toronto Blue Jays fans.
On Wednesday night, the Blue Jays headed back to Dodger Stadium for the third night in a row, for a pivotal Game 5 against the host Los Angeles Dodgers. And while it wasn’t exactly a cheap ticket to get in the door, the Blue Jays fans that made the trek sure seemed to get their money’s worth.
The Jays took a 2-0 lead off two solo homers by Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. just three pitches into the game, and didn’t really look back from that point on.
Buoyed by a 12-strikeout effort from pitcher Trey Yesavage that set both a Jays franchise postseason single-game record AND the World Series rookie record, Toronto moved ahead 3-2 in the series with a 6-2 win on the evening.
We can only imagine what those folks are feeling as they woke up today, with many of them likely more than happy to be a little groggy on flights returning north to Canada.
Back in Toronto, the scenes at Front and John streets were just as crowded.
The vibe at the Rogers Centre watch party, which was a sold-out crowd (though no outfield seats were sold due to their lack of a jumbotron view), was also something to behold.
With the win, the Blue Jays have guaranteed that they’ll have two shots to win the World Series on home turf, if necessary. They’ll get things started on Friday night for Game 6 on Halloween night, while a winner-take-all Game 7 goes Saturday should the Dodgers win the night prior.
With ticket prices going through the roof for those games, we can only imagine those in attendance will be about a hundred times as loud as the Jays fans who stuck around in L.A. last night.
