Following up on this impressive performance, the bouncy center had his best preseason stat line against the Spurs.
It is clear that the 21-year-old is unafraid of the Spurs and Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs will have a strenuous time slowing down the youngster and his quest to conquer the almighty big man. However, things may be different this time around.
Victor Wembanyama vs Kel’el Ware will be the matchup of the night
While Ware had had success against Victor Wembanyama in the past, that doesn’t automatically mean it will happen again. The Spurs superstar is reloaded this season and has put on an absurd amount of strength. In this newly pitted mini-rivalry, the Alien will be heavily focused on preventing Ware from succeeding once again.
The pair will be plotting against each other all night long, with both ready to make a statement. Wembanyama will need to bring his typical interior dominance to subdue the efforts of Ware. Although consistently excellent, the superhuman will need to maximize his efforts to stop whatever kind of streak Ware has been on.
