Auburn basketball will play its final preseason tune up on Thursday against the Memphis Tigers at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. If you are wondering how to watch the action live, you have come to the right place.
The Auburn Tigers will officially open the 2025-26 season on Monday, Nov. 3 against Bethune-Cookman. Before then, the Tigers will be challenged one more time in the preseason on Thursday when it battles Memphis at State Farm Arena, the home of the Atlanta Hawks. The game will be a rematch of last season’s Maui Invitational championship game, where the Auburn Tigers claimed the crown by beating Memphis, 90-76.
Thursday’s exhibition with Memphis will give many players one final chance to prove themselves, and for the coaching staff to lock down rotations before the season officially begins next Monday. However, a key player will be limited in action on Thursday as he continues to nurse a knee injury suffered in Auburn’s first exhibition earlier this month with Oklahoma State.
Head coach Steven Pearl shared this week that Mississippi State transfer Keshawn Murphy will be on a minutes restriction against Memphis and should not play for more than 10 minutes.
