Anyma Named as League of Legends Worlds 2025 Co-Creative Director

Following the initial announcement last month that electronic music and visual artist Anyma would perform at the 2025 League of Legends World Championship, Riot Games has released new details clarifying his expanded role and the structure of the event. Anyma will not only perform but has also been named a Creative Collaborator for the Worlds Opening Ceremony, bringing his unique visual style to the production.
This groundbreaking partnership, revealed on October 29, 2025, sees Anyma join Riot Games and global live production company Done and Dusted to design a creative experience for ACT III of the ceremony. His involvement signals Riot’s intent to elevate the ceremony’s visual artistry to a new level, matching the scale of Anyma’s past work, which includes a sold-out residency at Sphere Las Vegas and a recent show at the Pyramids of Giza.
Creative Vision and Live Performance
Anyma’s role as a creative collaborator means he will be helping to bring the world of League of Legends’ Runeterra to life through immersive technology and visual design. His signature style is known for merging art and music into stunning spectacles, making him an ideal partner to represent the game’s expansive story.
The artist, who is also an avid gamer, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “I’ve been an avid gamer all my life, so headlining Worlds 2025 is a real honor,” Anyma said. “Riot Games’ consistent storytelling on such a large scale feels truly limitless, and I’m thrilled to bring my sound and touch into their world.“
This collaboration is set to be a significant cultural moment, according to Maria Egan, Global Head of Music & Events at Riot Games. She noted that the union of the League of Legends brand with Anyma’s visionary art is creating an exclusive live experience that firmly places Worlds among the world’s most iconic cultural events.
The Full Opening Ceremony Lineup
In addition to his creative duties, Anyma will headline the ceremony on stage with Chinese superstar G.E.M. The two will perform a special live version of the Worlds 2025 Anthem, “Sacrifice.”
The opening ceremony, which will be broadcast live on November 9 via lolesports.com from the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu, China, will also feature two other accomplished vocalists:
- Chrissy Costanza: A long-time League of Legends collaborator whose anthem ‘Legends Never Die’ remains a fan favorite.
- TEYA: The Austrian singer and songwriter.
The entire show is designed to combine music, emotional storytelling, and cutting-edge production to create a rare and memorable esports event, cementing Worlds’ reputation for groundbreaking cultural performances.
