‘It was set up, it’s all fake’: Selling Sunset’s Bre defends throwing Chelsea’s flowers in the bin

This season of Selling Sunset has had no shortage of drama – from Nicole’s comment at that dinner party, to the arrival of new agent Sandra Vergara and the one moment we can’t stop thinking about – Bre throwing Chelsea’s flowers in the bin after she sent them to Mary. And now Bre has defended her actions.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK ahead of the new season Bre opened up about that shocking on-camera occasion, and defended her actions.
“She’s disingenuous, and that’s all facade,” she said. “You just happened to send them when we were filming? Like how did you know we were filming? We know what we do too well and that was just set up and fake. She doesn’t even like Mary so why are you sending flowers?”
During season nine Bre got closer with OG Oppenheim Group agent Mary, with the pair often shooting scenes together. Throughout the season Mary has continued her feud with fellow agent Chelsea, after Chelsea was upset by Mary’s comments on her outfit from last season.

Mid-way through the season Mary’s home was robbed, leaving her devastated. In an act of goodwill Chelsea sent a $150 bouquet of flowers to Mary to show her she was thinking of her.
The flowers arrived while Mary, her husband Romain and Bre were filming a scene at Mary’s home.
Mary was shocked to see the flowers and believed it was a setup by Chelsea and production, and said to the production crew: “No, I’m not doing this,” and walked off camera.
Bre then said of the flowers: “I’d expect nothing else from Chelsea. They’re probably bad f**king luck or have something on them.”
A production voice off camera was then overheard saying to Mary: “She wanted to do this from her. It’s got nothing to do with us,” denying their part in the gesture.

Mary was visibly upset and refused to film anymore. Bre then took it upon herself to put the flowers in the bin, saying: “We’re putting these in the f**king trash where they belong with the trash that sent it.”
Later on in the season during a cast dinner party Chelsea clarified that she hadn’t meant for the flowers to arrive on camera and it was meant to be a gesture to show that despite their friendship not being in a good place she wanted to show she cared.
Mary didn’t buy it and accused Chelsea of sending them while they were filming, to which Chelsea responded: “You’re here saying that I did it for the cameras. What do you think I need camera time for? B**ch they’ll get my face regardless. I don’t need f**king camera time
RIP to those $150 flowers.
