Pakistan bowl and leave out Shaheen Shah Afridi

Toss Pakistan chose to bowl vs South Africa

Salman Ali Agha chose to chase for the second time in the series as Pakistan looked to stay alive against South Africa. The tour has moved back to Lahore, after the first T20I was played in Rawalpindi, and all eyes will be on local hero Babar Azam, who made his T20I comeback in the first match, and was out for a duck.

Pakistan left out Shaheen Shah Afridi and brought in fellow left-arm quick Salman Mirza as their only change from the team that was outplayed in Rawalpindi. Shaheen went for 45 in his four overs in that game. Mirza has played five T20Is for Pakistan since his debut earlier this year and has eight wickets at an average of 16.75 and an economy rate of 6.87.

South Africa also made a change in their bowling and brought in Ottneil Baartman for Lizaad Williams. Baartman, who was part of the T20 World Cup squad that reached last year’s final, has not played for South Africa this year. They stuck with the same batting line-up that posted 194 in the first match, which left no room for Lhuan-dre Pretorius.

South Africa lead the series 1-0, with a game to come tomorrow.
