Apple TV is offering free streaming of the Peanuts classic on Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19.

Halloween is almost here, and what better way to celebrate than to watch an iconic childhood TV special?
“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” premiered in 1966 and follows the children of the “Peanuts” comics as they celebrate Halloween. Linus decides to skip the celebrations to wait in a pumpkin patch for the mythical Great Pumpkin. Charlie Brown has been invited to a Halloween party hosted by Violet, and Snoopy dresses up as a World War I ace and pretends to be in a battle atop his doghouse.
The Peanuts classic streamed for free on Apple TV on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 19. If you missed out, don’t worry, you can still watch the special.

Apple TV announced Oct. 1 that it signed a five-year extension with WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions to keep all Peanuts content on the streaming service. All Peanuts classics and Apple TV+ Peanuts originals will remain on the service through at least 2030.
