Lahore Police Issue Traffic Plan for Pak-SA T20I Clash

The Lahore Traffic Police have unveiled a detailed traffic and parking plan for the Pakistan–South Africa T20I scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium today.
Chief Traffic Officer Dr Athar Waheed stated that over one thousand traffic wardens would be deployed citywide to manage congestion and assist cricket fans arriving for the match.
He confirmed that major arteries, including The Mall, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, and Main Boulevard Gulberg, would remain open for motorists during the event.
Dr Waheed said that no route would face complete closure, while twenty forklifts and four breakdown vehicles would remain on standby to handle emergencies.
He also cautioned that strict action would be taken against vehicles found parked illegally or obstructing the smooth movement of traffic.
According to the plan, spectators using Ferozepur Road will turn from Kalma Chowk, pass through National Park, and park at Government College Gulberg premises.
