Lamelo Ball And Rick And Morty Return On The PUMA MB.05

It’s early, but it looks like LaMelo Ball finally found a running mate in third-year teammate Brandon Miller. Injury has hit pause on that pairing for the moment, but that dynamic duo energy is now bleeding onto his MB.05, a venue for PUMA to return to its Rick and Morty partnership following a two-shoe layoff.

Indeed, this marks the first homage to the Adult Swim series since the PUMA MB.01 and MB.02. While either one of those shoes is dedicated to the slime green of Mr. Smith’s interdimensional portals, reviving the mismatch concept on the MB.05 serves to replicate the grandfather/grandson duo’s on-screen appearances. Rick holds up the left shoe with the aqua tones of his Doc Brown hairdo and attire, while Morty’s yellow tie lights the sunny arrangement on the right. Distressed panel edges, wavy patterning in the upper, and character head branding on the heel round out this collab design.
