Big Brother fans are up in arms after a massive hint was dropped that one housemate might be able to purchase a pass straight to the final.

AJ Odudu, the host of Big Brother’s Late and Live, returned on Thursday (October 30) to dissect the latest happenings from Britain’s most famous house.

Dean McCullough, a former I’m A Celebrity contestant, came back as a panellist and quizzed AJ about rumours of a new item being added to the Eye Mart, which would allow a housemate to buy their way into the final.

The presenter coyly refused to “confirm or deny” the speculation, leaving viewers at home seething.

Venting on X, previously known as Twitter, one disgruntled fan wrote: “A pass to the final is wrong, the viewers should have the say.”, reports the Mirror.

Another chimed in: “I always dislike it when they offer a pass to the final.”

A third person expressed: “A pass to the final? That literally shouldn’t be a thing. That for sure has to be viewer influenced. ITV can’t do Big Brother properly, it needs to go to a different channel. #BBUK.”

A fourth echoed: “No-one should have a pass to the final ! ! @bbuk please stop this! ! Stop rewarding the housemates like this! ! #bbuk.”

Zelah, Farida and Richard are all up for the next public vote tonight (Friday, October 31), and it’s set to be a double eviction.

During Tuesday’s (October 28) episode, it was revealed that the trio had received the most nominations from their fellow housemates.

Farida received five nominations from Marcus, Nancy, Richard, Teja and Zelah, while Richard also got five nods from Caroline, Elsa, Farida, Nancy and Sam.

Tate found himself in the firing line after receiving the third highest number of nominations from housemates Farida, Sam and Teja. However, on Monday (October 27), Caroline managed to secure the Save and Replace token from the EyeDeal Mini Mart, giving her the power to rescue one housemate from eviction and nominate another in their place.

Caroline chose to save Tate for rather risqué reasons, telling her fellow housemates: “He does cook for me and I think when we get out of here we will have sex, or at least a fumble. So I will save you for sexual reasons.”

She then decided to put Zelah up for eviction, believing he wouldn’t be voted out. Zelah didn’t take this lightly, retorting: ‘I don’t think it’s fair to pick someone because you don’t think they will go out.”.

Big Brother airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm followed by Live & Live at 10pm
