While both teams are looking to pick up a key victory to start NBA Cup group play in Friday’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Raptors Injury Report, Will Jakob Poeltl Play?

For the Raptors, they enter Friday’s game with only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center Jakob Poeltl.

Poeltl has been ruled out due to lower back tightness that caused him to exit Monday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the fourth quarter and held him out of Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets.

With Poeltl sidelined, Collin Murray-Boyles may once again start in his place while Sandro Mamukelashvili could be in line for a larger role off the bench.

Cavaliers Injury Report, Will Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen Play?

On the other side, the Cavaliers have five players listed on their injury report, including both Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen.

For Mitchell, he has been listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury, though he was able to play through it in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics.

If Mitchell is sidelined in Friday’s game, Lonzo Ball and Craig Porter Jr. could be in line for a larger role.

Cleveland has also listed Allen as questionable for Friday’s contest due to a finger injury that he suffered in Wednesday’s loss to Boston.

If Allen is sidelined, Dean Wade and Larry Nance Jr. could have a larger role against the Raptors.
