Verdict reached in trial involving former Dougherty County teacher, student

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – The jury reached a not guilty verdict on Friday, Oct. 31 in the trial involving a former Monroe Comprehensive High School teacher. Audrianna Cobb-Williams was accused of having sexual contact with a student.

The jury’s deliberation lasted less than an hour.

Cobb-Williams was in the courtroom every day of the trial. There were three days of testimony after jury selection was completed on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
