Toss New Zealand chose to bowl vs England

Mitchell Santner won his third toss in a row and again elected to bowl first as New Zealand went in search of a 3-0 whitewash in their ODI series with England at the Sky Stadium in Wellington.

Santner’s call was supported by a “bit of grass” on the pitch, as well as his side’s success in bowling England out for scores of 223 and 175 in the first two games. New Zealand made one change, with Devon Conway coming in for Kane Williamson, who was ruled out with a groin niggle.

England were unchanged, with Harry Brook asking for his team to “have a bit of presence” as they seek a consolation victory in their last outing of the tour, before attention turns to the Ashes in Australia.
