Golden Knights forward Mark Stone sidelined with wrist injury

Mark Stone is expected to be out week to week after suffering a wrist injury, head coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters on Monday.
The Golden Knights forward suffered the injury during the third period of Saturday’s game against the Calgary Flames.
Stone had been off to a hot start this season, recording 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in six games to sit two back of Jack Eichel for the team lead.
With Stone out of the lineup, Brandon Saad will move to the top line, while Ivan Barbashev will switch to right wing.
Stone, the 33-year-old Winnipeg native, suited up for Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off in February and is among the candidates to make the team for the 2026 Olympics in Italy.
