SJHL Steps Up Once Again to Support Men’s Health Through Movember Initiative

REGINA, SK – The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is proud to once again do its part to change the face of men’s physical and mental health. Following the success of last year’s campaign—which raised more than $20,000 for Movember—the league and its member teams are back for another year of fundraising, awareness, and community impact.

Throughout the month of November, players, coaches, and staff across the SJHL will grow their moustaches and rally their communities to raise funds and spark conversations around men’s health. Fans are encouraged to sign up, donate, and support their local SJHL team’s Movember campaign as the league aims to meet—or surpass—last year’s impressive total.

The SJHL will be sharing weekly updates and photos showcasing players’ moustache progress across its platforms. Additionally, a special guest from Movember Canada will appear on an upcoming episode of SJHL Weekly to discuss the importance of the movement and its impact on men’s lives.

To add a little friendly competition, the SJHL team that raises the most money will receive a special prize and recognition for their leadership in supporting men’s health.

Fans can follow along all month long on SJHL social media channels and join the movement by clicking here.

Together, we can help change the face of men’s health.

Be sure to follow the SJHL on X (@theSJHL), Instagram (@sjhlhockey), and on Facebook today and also be sure to add @MovemberCA!
