Chelmsford vs Braintree

Chelmsford sit only 14th in the National League South, having lost two of their last three matches, and National League Braintree should put their extra quality to good use in this FA Cup first-round battle. The visitors are not pulling up any trees but three clean sheets in five outings shows that they are hard to break down and one goal may be enough to land the spoils at the Dunmow Group Community Stadium.

Leicester vs Blackburn

Leicester have failed to build on a strong start and too many draws have hindered their Championship progress, but a home victory over Blackburn should be well within their grasp. The Foxes still inherit Premier League quality and they are unbeaten in five league games at the King Power Stadium, which includes holding leaders Coventry to a draw. Rovers have lost three of their five away league games to nil and may find this beyond them.

Norwich vs Hull

Norwich are in desperate straits having lost all five of their Championship home games and they make little appeal at home to highflying Hull, who are eighth and some 11 points above the second-bottom hosts. The Canaries have failed to win any of their last eight league assignments while only a late Charlton goal prevented the Tigers from posting their fourth successive league win last week.

West Brom vs Sheffield Wednesday

West Brom have had a stop-start season so far in the Championship but this represents a gilt-edged opportunity to claim maximum points at home to Sheffield Wednesday, who face a mammoth task to avoid the drop after their administration deduction. The Owls, now on -6 points, have lost eight of their opening 12 league games and, if finishing in the playoff places is a realistic goal for the Baggies, then this is must win.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an ‘acca’, is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
