Chelsea vs Sunderland

Sunderland’s strong start has been one of the stories of the season but even the in-form Black Cats are unlikely to have enough to stop Chelsea, who have scored 11 goals while winning their last four games – a run which includes a 2-1 victory over Liverpool and a 5-1 rout of Ajax.

Newcastle vs Fulham

Misfiring Fulham failed to register a shot on target in last Saturday’s loss to Arsenal and their lack of threat is likely to cost them at St James’ Park, where Newcastle have beaten Nottingham Forest and Jose Mourinho’s Benfica to nil in their last two home outings.

Bristol City vs Birmingham

Birmingham snapped a four-game winless streak with a 1-0 win at Preston on Tuesday but a trip to Ashton Gate looks a far tougher test given Bristol City have lost just two Championship games all season and are coming off the back of a 3-1 win over Southampton.

Middlesbrough vs Wrexham

Second-placed Middlesbrough followed up a 2-1 win over Ipswich with a hard-fought 1-0 success at Hillsborough and they can make it three wins on the spin by beating Wrexham, who have managed just one victory in five and lost their last away game against Stoke.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an ‘acca’, is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
