Is Pierce Brosnan back as James Bond? What he’s admitting about returning to the role!

Pierce Brosnan, one of the most beloved Bond actors, says he isn’t closing the door on returning to the franchise.

Brosnan played 007 in four films from “GoldenEye” to “Die Another Day,” and recently told Radio Times he’d come back to the character “in a heartbeat” if given the chance.
It seems like Denis Villeneuve, who is directing the next iteration of James Bond, has yet to approach the 72-year-old actor to be a part of his new film, as Brosnan said he’d answer the call from the famed director if he got one.

Stepping into the Bond tuxedo in 1995, Brosnan said he and his wife Keely Shaye Brosnan have discussed the recent rumors about who the next 007 could be.
“My wife Keely and I have been listening to the drumbeat of expectation of who’s going to be the next James Bond. There are many great candidates out there, and I’m sure they’re going to make it a spectacle of delight.”
But the “Mamma Mia” star isn’t so sure if the audience would like to see him play James Bond again because of his age.

“I don’t think anyone wants to see a craggy, 72-year-old ‘Bond.’ But if Villeneuve had something up his sleeve, I would look at it in a heartbeat. Why not? It’s great entertainment. It could be lots of laughs. Bald caps, prosthetics who knows?”
Who do you think should play the next James Bond?
