Strictly’s Lewis Cope’s girlfriend supports him and Katya Jones after responding to Emmerdale return probe
The actor and his professional dance partner are being supported by his real-life girlfriend as their Strictly journey continues

Lewis Cope and his professional dance partner Katya Jones are being supported by his real-life girlfriend as their Strictly Come Dancing journey continues.
The actor has this week been preparing to compete in week five of the BBC One dance contest, having made it through to Icons Week which takes places this Saturday (October 25).
Lewis and Katya secured their place in another week of the competition following their last performance, a Foxtrot to L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole, which secured 34 out of 40 points from the judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.
They will next be the Quickstep to Ring Of Fire by Johnny Cash as the show’s 11 remaining couples pay homage to a singer or band this weekend.
Ahead of their next performance, on Thursday (October 23) Lewis and Katya had a busy day as in between training, the pair were interviewed on ITV’s Lorraine, before joining Janette Manrara later on Strictly’s spin-off show, It Takes Two.
Alongside pictures of how they spent their day, Lewis wrote on Instagram: “Today was pure joy! Kicked off with a fabulous interview on @lorraine with @ranvirtv, followed by @bbcstrictly rehearsals with @katyajones and ended with @jmanrara on It Takes Two. Feeling so thankful.”
Lewis’ girlfriend, Rachel Lopez, was quick to respond as she gushed over Lewis and Katya: “Absolutely glowing the pair of you!!!!”

Meanwhile, Lewis has recently been heard speaking about whether he could go back to Emmerdale, having played Nicky Milligan in the ITV soap.
He first appeared in December 2022 as the new nanny for Gabby Thomas’ son. However, he was later revealed to be the secret son of Caleb Milligan, who was using his son to steal Kim Tate’s livelihood.
But he left last year alongside boyfriend Suni Sharma, played by Rrahmdeo Shannon Ramana, after getting tired of his family keeping secrets from him.
Lewis has now admitted: “Nicky can come back at any point,” as he spoke to RadioTimes.com and other press at the Pride of Britain Awards earlier this week.
“His family is still in there, it’s was a brilliant, brilliant job for me. I loved being there, everyone’s so lovely and they’ve been so supportive of this [Strictly] as well. So, you never know what’s going to happen in the future.”
When further asked by RadioTimes.com about a potential reprisal of Nicky, he simply said: “Never say never.”
