WWE SNME Showdown Predictions – Salt Lake City,Utah

WWE’s SNME takes place in Salt Lake City and the matches on this card make it one of the strongest SNME cards in quite a while. Kudos to WWE for putting real interest into this event. For years, it was just a glorified house show with little to no real storyline importance, but in 2025, WWE has begun to elevate this platform. With domestic premium live events being more sporadic these past few years, this show has now become an opportunity to host meaningful matches, set up major storylines, and showcase talent in front of a live crowd without waiting for the next big PPV.

Personally, I am excited for this lineup because it allows storylines that have been building for weeks to come to life. The mix of singles matches, triple threats, and title defenses makes sure that there should be plenty of surprises and character developments throughout the night. With that said, let’s break down my match predictions for this Saturday and see which superstars will walk away with the victory.

BTW my Crown Jewel score was 2-3 , I know you expect better from me , but honestly I was just trying to keep up with the swerves WWE has been planting this year. I’m still your go to guy for WWE PLE predictions , I just had an off night and who doesn’t. Now lets get into these SNME predictions

1. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso – Singles Match for the Vacant World Heavyweight Championship

I predict CM PUNK conquers Jey Uso to claim the vacant World Heavyweight Championship!

This match is like hitting the glass button. Since Seth Rollins is injured, a new champion must be crowned, and it’s between two former World Heavyweight Champions, CM PUNK vs. JEY USO. Possibly two of the most over guys on the Raw roster right now, this is a battle of respect. There is no formal rivalry between them, so the point of this match is to get the World Heavyweight Championship around the waist of someone while keeping Rollins out of the picture.

I predict CM Punk wins this match, and continues the story with The Vision. Jey Uso will go off and tie up loose ends with his brother Jimmy. And yes, expect The Vision to be involved one way or another. CM Punk’s victory would make sense not only because of his current momentum, but also because he brings instant legitimacy to the vacant championship. This is a moment where Punk can reestablish himself as a top face on Raw while setting up the next phase of storylines involving Jey Uso and potentially other challengers, keeping fans invested in the weeks leading up to the next PPV.

2. Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre – Singles Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship

I predict Cody Rhodes stays on top, retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship!

In the ideal scenario, Drew wins this match. Personally, I am tired of seeing Drew lose big matches as a heel. Yes, he has had some momentum wins to get him to this point, like against CM Punk and Damian Priest, but ultimately he hasn’t won anything truly significant.

However, Cody Rhodes is the QB1 for WWE, the golden goose, and he is set to win this match. I predict Cody Rhodes wins this match. If he does not, it will be the shocker of the night. Kudos to both men for making this rivalry digestible. Drew carried the heavier load here while Cody was off shooting Street Fighter. Cody’s win will continue his championship reign and cement his position as the top face of the company while keeping Drew relevant as a strong contender. This match also solidifies Cody’s championship credibility heading into the final months of 2025, ensuring the audience stays invested in his pursuit of dominance while also leaving the door open for future rematches or shocking twists.

3. Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill – Singles Match for the WWE Women’s Championship

I predict JADE CARGILL rises to power, capturing the WWE Women’s Championship!

This is the Jade Cargill I have been waiting for, and honestly, I think it’s time. Tiffany has been a strong women’s champion both in the ring and on the mic. However, that division needs an end-of-the-year shakeup, and this is it. A newly-heel and crowned women’s champion, Jade Cargill, could be the shakeup that injects new energy into the women’s division.

I predict Jade wins the title here, and we get the ball rolling for Jade Cargill vs. Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 42. Jade’s victory would mark a turning point for the division, giving fans a fresh narrative while also providing a new challenger for the top face of WWE Women’s roster. It’s a logical progression that rewards her momentum and charisma while creating anticipation for a marquee WrestleMania matchup. WWE needs someone who can dominate the division and set up long-term storytelling, and Jade has the perfect combination of star power, in-ring ability, and character work to do just that.

4. Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Penta vs. Rusev – Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

I predict DOMINIK MYSTERIO holds strong, retaining the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat showdown!

The buildup to this match has been done well, so well that I did not even see a triple threat match happening, although all the evidence was there. Dominik has been a strong Intercontinental Champion, and his popularity has been soaring. That sucks for Penta and Rusev. Penta is no doubt one of the hottest stars on Raw and Rusev just returned and has been utilized quite often.

I predict Dominik Mysterio retains, as it honestly isn’t needed for him to lose here. Dominik is an entertaining scoundrel of a champion, and whoever beats him needs to be on a bigger stage. Retaining the title here allows Dominik to continue growing his persona as a cunning and exciting champion while giving Penta and Rusev more time to develop their narratives before a potential bigger feud. This match also reinforces the prestige of the Intercontinental Championship by keeping it on someone who can creatively carry storylines and deliver consistent in-ring performances, ensuring fans remain engaged throughout the rest of the year.

Saturday Night Main Event represents a turning point for this program. With championships on the line and some of Raw’s hottest talent featured, WWE has successfully turned this show into a must-watch event rather than filler. Every match has stakes, story implications, and the potential to elevate both new and established stars heading into the final months of the year. Fans should expect surprises, momentum shifts, and moments that will ripple into the next PPV.

From CM Punk vs. Jey Uso to Dominik Mysterio’s triple threat defense, every match has been carefully structured to maintain narrative consistency while giving wrestlers a platform to shine. WWE is balancing storytelling with athleticism, creating moments that matter in a year where major PPVs are less frequent. Each championship match is a chance to shake up the hierarchy and keep fans invested in both the talent and the titles they chase.

Overall, this card is proof that WWE can still generate excitement and meaningful storylines outside of its major PPVs. The outcomes I have predicted, including CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, and Dominik Mysterio, reflect the company’s long-term vision while keeping fans guessing and invested in future rivalries. This show will set the tone for the final months of 2025, making it an unmissable night for every WWE fan.

All opinions are my own. These predictions are based on storylines and match builds as of this writing.
