Report: Auburn making change at quarterback

AUBURN, Ala. (WBRC) – There will be a new face behind center for the Auburn Tigers this weekend, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.

According to Thamel, Ashton Daniels will start at quarterback Saturday for the Tigers’ matchup vs. Kentucky.

Thamel reports that Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze informed the team of his decision Friday night. Daniels will takeover for Jackson Arnold, who transferred to Auburn from Oklahoma earlier this year.

Daniels first start for the Tigers will come against the Wildcats inside Jordan-Hare Stadiun. Kickoff is set for 6:30 Saturday night.
