Candy meets construction: Truck or Treat

On Wednesday, Northwestern and the Central Street Consortium celebrated the Halloween season with Truck or Treat for the second year. Attendees took turns touring construction vehicles used to build the new Ryan Field and the Evanston Fire Department’s purple fire truck. One River design school, Dumpster Dudez and other local businesses offered candy and toys at the family-friendly event at the Ryan Field construction site, Ashland Avenue and Central Street. Cotton candy, face painting and games added an extra layer of fun to the fall festivities.
