Northwestern invites local families to celebrate Halloween at the new Ryan Field site

Local children dressed as Care Bears, princesses and trash trucks alongside real-life excavators, diggers, buses and other heavy equipment yesterday at the Truck or Treat Halloween event next to the new Ryan Field.

Twenty-two event partners from the community helped contribute to the festivities with candy, costumes and a chance to see Evanston’s purple fire truck up close.
