A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a daylight shooting at a supermarket carpark.
Nine News footage from the scene in Bayswater, east of Melbourne, showed a man holding his stomach wearing a blood stained polo shirt.
Police said it is understood two men were arguing prior to emergency services being called to the incident at just before 4pm on Saturday.
The victim was located and suffered a suspected gunshot wound.
No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
