More on ‘Landman’
“Landman” is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”
“In season 2, as oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break,” the show’s synopsis reads.
The Thornton-led series premiered on Paramount+ in November 2024 and wrapped its 10-episode first season on Jan. 12. The drama is co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Wallace, who created the “Boomtown” Texas Monthly podcast that the show is based on.
“Landman” season 1 starred Thornton, Randolph, Moore, Chávez, Garcia, Jon Hamm, Jacob Lofland, Ali Larter, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Colm Feore and Mark Collie. Michael Peña and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared in guest roles.
All episodes of “Landman” season 1 are streaming on Paramount+.
