Fans of Strictly Come Dancing claim to have been left ‘absolutely heartbroken’ after a spoiler that leaked late on Saturday night revealed that the identity of the latest star to be sent home. And it’s a contestant who was one of the favorites to win the whole show.
Following all the excitement of Icons Week there was a second consecutive themed week on Saturday’s Strictly, as the reasoning celebs and their pro partners were transformed into all manner of characters. And, on Halloween weekend the latest live show proved to be full of treats.
After starting the show with an American Smooth, Vicky Pattison was told she was ‘heading for the final’ as her impressive score of 31 out of 40 set the tone for a night of high scores. Having been 4/1 with the bookies to get the first 40 of the series, Lewis Cope did just that, with La Voix and Karen Carney both defying the odds to go shooting up the leaderboard, as Harry and Karen finished bottom on 26.
This week’s Strictly spoiler leaked late on Saturday and fans couldn’t believe what they were reading when they saw who was eliminated. One reacted: ‘ Oh wow! Definitely didn’t expect them to leave just yet!’ as another replied: ‘ agree, another week or two. This was too soon’
Many others just had one word for the result – shocked. The Halloween Week results will play out in full on Sunday night on BBC One, when there’ll be a Monsters Ball themed routine from the professionals and music from Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns.
