Inter Milan will have Marcus Thuram back available for selection, but Cristian Chivu is not expected to rush the French forward back into action with Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny set to start.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Thuram took part in full training with the squad on Friday, yet his chances of featuring at the Bentegodi remain slim.
Chivu is set to make only minor adjustments for Sunday’s early kick-off against Verona.
Therefore, the bulk of rotation planned for next week’s Champions League clash with Kairat Almaty.

In attack, Ange-Yoan Bonny is expected to start once again alongside Lautaro Martinez.
The pair have formed a balanced and energetic partnership.
Elsewhere, Carlos Augusto is pushing for a start and could replace either Federico Dimarco or Alessandro Bastoni on the left.
In defence, Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi are vying for a central role.
Meanwhile, the rest of the lineup should remain unchanged.
Thuram’s return is a positive sign, but Chivu’s cautious approach reflects Inter’s priority, managing fitness sustainably.
