Help Timber win Premier League Player of the Month | News

Jurrien Timber’s excellent defensive displays during October have seen him nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
Our full-back was part of a backline that didn’t concede in any of our three league matches during the month, as we beat West Ham United, Fulham and Crystal Palace in a trio of London derbies to move to the top of the table.
As well as being a rock at the back during all 270 minutes of those three matches, Jurrien has played his part in an attacking sense too, and was instrumental in our win against the Hammers, as he won a penalty that was converted by Bukayo Saka to wrap up the points.
He is one of eight players shortlisted for this month’s prize, including two other defenders – Aston Villa’s Matty Cash and Sunderland’s Nordi Mukiele, who both registered a goal and a single clean sheet from their three outings.
Three players netted a trio of goals during October – Manchester rivals Erling Haaland and Bryan Mbuemo as well as Bournemouth’s 19-year-old striker Junior Kroupi – and they’re also nominated, while Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Brentford’s Igor Thiago receive recognition for netting twice.
You can vote for Jurrien now until Monday, November 3, with a combination of supporters’ votes and the views of a panel of experts determining the victor.
