Watch Tee Higgins’ 44-yard touchdown catch for the Bengals in the second quarter against the Bears
CINCINNATI, Ohio — Tee Higgins did in one catch on Sunday against the Bears what he did the week before against the Jets.
Late in the second quarter on Sunday in Paycor Stadium, Higgins made a spectacular catch against Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright along the sideline and took it 44 yards for a go-ahead touchdown, giving Cincinnati a 20-17 lead.
It’s the ninth straight home game with a touchdown catch for Higgins. He also surpassed the 5,000-yard mark for his career with the TD.
The 44-yard TD catch matches what Higgins did last week when he only caught one pass, which was also a 44-yard touchdown from Flacco, in the Bengals’ 39-38 loss to the Jets.
On the play, Higgins gets a hand on the pass to pull it away from Wright before pulling it in while never breaking stride.
With the catch, Higgins has three receptions for 63 yards, matching Ja’Marr Chase in both categories for the team lead.
