Tucker Kraft injury update looks like awful news for Packers

Tucker Kraft was wheeling around the right side of the line, trying to get through traffic.

The Green Bay Packers tight end didn’t make it through, though.

He collided with a pile of lineman, with the main force of the collision hitting Kraft in his right knee.

He went down, holding the back of his right knee.

Eventually, Kraft was helped to the sideline by multiple trainers.

He was officially named as questionable to return.

If Kraft ends up out, it’s major news.

He has been the No. 1 tight end in fantasy football this season. That’s how productive he has been, week in and week out.

The Packers don’t really have another pass-catching tight end like Kraft.

Luke Musgrave gets playing time, but he’s known for his blocking.

They also have John FitzPatrick, who could see targets if Kraft misses time.

Mostly, it’d make sense for the Packers to utilize their deep receiving corps more fully if Kraft is out.

And at least based on the initial collision, things don’t look good for Kraft.

There’ll be a lot of tight end waiver wire moves in fantasy football in the week ahead if Kraft’s injury is bad.

In the meantime, Packers fans and Kraft’s fantasy football managers will cross their fingers that things are OK.
