Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills preview
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills were the top two seeds in the AFC last season and fought out the Conference Championship game with the Chiefs winning 32-29 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Bills are 4-0 against the Chiefs in the regular season over the last four years but 0-3 against Andy Reid’s team in the playoffs since 2021.
The Bills bounced back from two defeats to thump the Panthers 40-9 last week but that was the first time they had covered the handicap in five games.
The Chiefs had a slow start to the campaign but have now won convincing three times in a row after getting their top wide receivers back from injury and suspension.
They cruised to a 28-7 win over the Commanders on Monday and can play their part in another high-scoring battle with the Bills as elite QBs Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes go head to head.
Both games between the teams last season went over the total points line of 47.5 as the Bills won 30-21 in the regular season match-up.
Three of the Bills’ four games at Highmark Stadium this season have gone over as they have scored 31 or more points three times.
Both teams rank in the top five in the league for yards per game while the Bills lead the NFL in rushing yards per game, and with Mahomes looking like his old self again this could turn into an entertaining shootout.
