Celebrity Traitors fans unearth Nick Mohammed clip branded ‘greatest video ever’

The Ted Lasso actor is known as his alter-ego Mr Swallow on stage and television.
The Celebrity Traitors fans have unearthed an iconic clip starring Nick Mohammed, that they’re calling “the greatest video of all time”.
The Ted Lasso actor has proven to be worth his rumoured £40,000 fee on Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery gameshow, having shown off his gameplay skills from the first episode where he decoded a puzzle within seconds, to betraying fellow Faithfuls Kate Garraway and Lucy Beaumont with a secret message to Joe Marler, letting him win a challenge.
In the process, Nick put himself, Kate and Lucy at risk of murder from Traitors Cat Burns, Alan Carr and Jonathan Ross, who have so far gone unexposed.

As fans are fearing the worst, that Nick may be eliminated from the game, several have uncovered one of his greatest TV moments.
The comedian, known for portraying the character Mr Swallow on stage and television, has made frequent appearances on the likes of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
One appearance, which also featured Claudia and Lucy’s ex Jon Richardson, saw him perform his own version of the Jurassic Park theme song.
“I’m a massive, massive fan of film scores, always have been, always will be,” Nick began, highlighting his passion for John Williams’ scores.

“My absolute favourite is Jurassic Park, loved it as a kid, still love it now,” he continued, giving his own rendition with lyrics that summarised the plot.
In it, he included: “They share the DNA of frogs, what a good idea, what a bad idea, what could possibly go wrong?”
He sings: “It’s Jurassic Park, it’s a massive park, what could possibly go wrong? Everyone gets killed except the great Sam Neill, who’s obsessed, who’s obsessed, who’s obsessed, who’s obsessed, they evolve into birds.”
Fans have been left in hysterics at the clip, with one person posting on X: “In celebration of Nick Mohammed’s great puzzle solving, here’s his hilarious Jurassic Park theme tune performance.”

Another replied: “How have I never seen this before?? Hilarious.”
“This is what I’m here for,” someone else said, as another agreed: “Very under-rated comedian! Was incredible on Taskmaster too.”
“Hilarious, I’ve never seen it before so thank you!” another commented.
When the clip was shared on Reddit, one fan wrote: “My appreciation for Nick Mohammed keeps growing.”

Another said: “Holy s**t this had me in tears.”
Someone else replied: “Nick Mohammed as Mr Swallow on 8 Out of 10 Cars Does Countdown, with one of the greatest videos of all time.”
Ahead of taking part in The Celebrity Traitors, Nick admitted his character Mr Swallow wouldn’t be making an appearance.
He shared: “Sadly, I think Nick Mohammed was booked rather than Mr. Swallow. But also, can you imagine how irritating that would be, not just for the people taking part, but for the nation?! I mean, I’m not saying I won’t slip into Mr. Swallow at some point, but no, that would have been too much.”

He added: “I decided to take part because I absolutely adore the show, and always have done. This is the first thing I’ve ever done as myself.
“I did Taskmaster, which was sort of as me, but even that, I decided to dress as Dracula because I wanted to hide behind something.
“Because I like to act, often in character, I tend not to do as much as myself to sort of preserve an element of mystery, I guess.
“But there was no way I was going to give up an opportunity like this! I’ve always loved games like this and to hang out with such a wonderful, fascinating bunch too – what a privilege.”
The Celebrity Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
