WATCH: Seahawks AJ Barner scores Tush Push touchdown

The Seattle Seahawks have scored a touchdown using the Philadelphia Eagles’ trademark tush push play.

Klint Kubiak has been happy to use the play this season with starting tight end AJ Barner. He put up some smokescreens in preseason by running the play with rookie quarterback Jalen Milroe, but since the regular season has started, he’s only used it with Barner. Barner’s 6’6”, 235 lb. frame is ideal, as there’s no other quarterback in the NFL with the leg strength of Jalen Hurts. Barner, on the other hand, could pass as a rugby player on looks, and is ideal for the usage of a play the Eagles imported from the sport of rugby. The Seahawks will keep using Barner on it until someone can stop them, and if Philadelphia’s any indication, it won’t be anytime soon. No football defense can stop this play because it’s simply from another sport.
