Jayden Daniels injured as Seahawks rout Commanders: Live updates and reaction from NFL ‘Sunday Night Football’

After missing last week with a hamstring injury, Jayden Daniels looked healthy enough and had moments of brilliance, but Washington’s implosion on defense and wide receiver injuries were simply too much for the defending NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year to overcome — and then he suffered a gruesome-looking injury to his left arm.
Daniels put out his arm to brace himself as he was tackled to the ground, only to have his arm bent backward and pinned behind him. The entire Washington team gathered around their leader as he was helped into a cast and then helped off the field.
The good news for Daniels is that the injury happened to his non-throwing arm, which should help mitigate the long-term affects of this injury on his ability. The bad news is that this is likely the last we will see of the face of the Washington Commanders in the 2025 NFL season.
Daniels finished 16-for-22 passing with 153 yards and an interception and also had 51 yards on 10 carries.
