“JJ Redick Has the Best Angry Coach Stomp” – Twitter Loves Lakers HC’s Crash Out On $3.4M Center After Defensive Meltdown

JJ Redick was livid on the sidelines early in the fourth quarter of the LA Lakers’ game against the Miami Heat on Sunday. The Lakers were up big in the first half, but they allowed the visitors back into the game in the third period. NBA Twitter was loving Redick’s reaction to Jaxson Hayes missing his defensive assignment.

With the Lakers up 107-102, Nikola Jovic had the ball for the Heat. He was being defended by Ausin Reaves when Hayes went in for the help. It opened up Kel’el Ware, who received an easy alley oop from Jovic to cut down the Lakers’ lead to just three points.

Redick immediately called a timeout and had a valid crash out, shouting at his players for not playing good defense. Hayes missed his assignment, while Rui Hachimura was too late to rotate. It was baffling that the $3.4 million backup big man would double someone like Jovic, instead of just helping if he gets through Reaves’ defense.

LA Lakers fans are loving the reaction by JJ Redick, who seems to care about every single detail about what his team was doing. Redick is one of the most passionate coaches in the NBA today, which is why the franchise were happy to give him an extension after just one season in charge.
