LeBron James Goes Wild After Bronny’s Poster Dunk Off Austin Reaves’ Lob [VIDEO]

LeBron James may not suit up until mid-November, but he’s been seen recently hyping up his teammates on the bench. That’s a welcome sight for the team, especially after fans pointed out that LBJ was visibly disinterested during the Lakers’ opener this season.

Of course, aside from the occasional joy he has had seeing Luka Doncic or Austin Reaves generate insane plays on the court, his support is quite different when another Laker makes a great play – his son, Bronny James.

That’s why after Bronny viciously slammed the ball after a lob pass from Austin Reaves against the visiting Miami Heat, LBJ went nuts into the sidelines. ‘LADEig’ captured the moment and shared it on X.

LeBron was not the only Laker who was hyped up with Bronny’s dunk. Reaves quickly dapped the younger James after the alley oop. Rui Hachimura, Jaxson Hayes, and Marcus Smart were seen celebrating on the bench alongside LBJ.

That was only Bronny’s basket of the game. He finished with two points, two assists, and three steals for LA in nearly 18 minutes on the floor. The Lakers triumphed over the visiting Heat, 130-120. Luka Doncic led the way with a 29-11-10 triple-double in the win.

LeBron James’ Injury Has Been Unfairly Questioned

James, who is out due to a sciatica injury, has not suited up for the Lakers this season yet. This is the first time in his 23-year career that he has missed playing on opening night. However, not everybody is sold that James is indeed nursing an injury. Charles Barkley called ‘cap’ on LBJ’s injury, accusing him of faking it.

Some even suggested that LeBron was faking the injury because he wanted to be traded out of the Lakers. That’s quite hard to fathom, but some are truly questioning the extent of his injuries.
