Former Central Bank boss admits he was ‘too trusting’ of banks

Former Central Bank governor Professor Patrick Honohan has admitted that the regulatory authorities could have acted much faster to stop banks unfairly taking tracker mortgages off customers.

And he admits he was too trusting of the banks.
