Downtown Columbus museum severely damaged after reported gas leak

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A museum in downtown Columbus suffered major damage after a gas leak and explosion.
Columbus Fire crews went to the Kelton House Museum and Garden at 586 East Town Street around 2:32 p.m. in response to a natural gas leak. An explosive event caused a partial collapse and fire, CFD said.
No injuries were reported. A neighbor told WSYX he heard a loud boom and felt his building shake.

Kelton House Museum was founded in 1976, but the building dates back to 1852 and was once part of the Underground Railroad.
