Former U.S. president does coin toss at Dallas Cowboys-Arizona Cardinals game

Former U.S. President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush were in attendance at the “Monday Night Football” game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium.

Bush, 79, was a part of the pregame ceremony honoring Medal of Honor recipients during the national anthem, with the flag held by ROTC and Junior ROTC members from Fort Worth ISD.

The Bushes also participated in the coin toss and a received a hearty round of applause from fans when shown on the jumbotron.

A favorite son of the Lone Star State, Bush, who was once owner of the Texas Rangers, served as the state’s 46th governor from 1995-2000 before becoming the 43rd president of the United States from 2001-2009.
