Half Yours has won to complete the Caulfield Cup-Melbourne Cup double.
It’s a history-making race for jockey Jamie Melham, who timed her run to perfection.
Rank outsider Land Legend made a bold move to lead by as many as 10 lengths on the back straight, but Melham waited patiently before bursting clear.
Half Yours held off Goodie Two Shoes down the straight, while Middle Earth and River Of Stars completed the top four.
Melham becomes the second female jockey after Michelle Payne to win the Melbourne cup and the first female jockey to complete the Cups double.

She was in tears after the race, revealing her grandfather died recently with the Caulfield Cup the last race he saw.
“The last thing he watched was the Caulfield Cup, he was such a big supporter of mine,” she said.
“He was up there, opening those gaps for me, because I needed a few gaps opened then. My mum and dad are here, they’ve put up with all my shit the last few years, and my beautiful husband (Ben Melham).”
