Jonathan Bailey makes history as he takes out the title of People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2025

Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2025!

The 37-year-old English actor took out the title, after Hollywood star John Krasinski won last year.

Speaking to People in the accompanying cover story, Bailey said, “It’s a huge honour. Obviously I’m incredibly flattered. And it’s completely absurd.”

The star has made history with the title win, being the first openly gay man to be selected.

He also reflected on his career success when sharing the best advice he’d give to his younger self.

“You’re not going to believe where you’re going to end up. It’s all going to be fine.”

The handsome star, who hails from Wallingford in the UK, is known for roles including as Lord Anthony Bridgerton in Bridgerton, as well as Fiyero in Wicked and Wicked For Good.

Despite having been an actor for years, it was Bridgerton that really helped put him on the map and help him rise to international fame. 

He made headlines just a week ago when he sent some surprise flowers to Aussie Wildlife Warrior Robert Irwin in a supportive gesture for his time on the US show, Dancing With The Stars.
