The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has shared rare family photos with her husband, real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, and their son, Niko.
The 28-year-old took to her Instagram on Sunday, Nov. 2, to share a carousel of family snaps taken throughout October. She posed with her husband, whom is believed to be around 60 years old making it a 32-year age gap between them, and their toddler, who was dressed as a pumpkin, at the White House Halloween event on Oct. 30, where President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump handed out candy to children.
Riccio wore a black suit while his wife donned a black leather outfit. In the second photo, Leavitt is seen talking to the president at the trick-or-treating event. Other snaps included Niko looking at a goat at a farm and a sign advertising another trick-or-treating event at Vice President JD Vance’s home. It comes after Trump’s creepy four-word comment about Leavitt’s appearance that sent shivers down the spine.

Leavitt and Riccio also posed in pumpkin costumes while posing with their son. The mother-of-one also shared a video of her going down a slide with Niko sitting in her lap. The press secretary captioned the post with, “October was a treat!”
Plenty of fans took to the post’s comments section to praise Leavitt for sharing her photos, with one person writing, “October was a treat!” Another added, “Beautiful family!!”

A third said, “Love this so much! Great parents! Great God! Great country,” as a fourth commented, “Great photos Karoline!! Hope you had a lovely October!!”
However, one person wrote, “Is that your dad,” referring to Riccio. There were 62 replies, including one that read, “What a hateful, ignorant comment!”
Another added, “you people know nothing but hate… you’re insufferable.” A third slammed while replying to that person, writing, “and they don’t deserve the time of day. They’re all just so jealous and hateful. If it wasn’t so pathetic, it would be hysterical.”
Some responded that the question was fair, with one chiming in, “fair question.” Another penned, “with all due respect, they have a 32 year age gap. People will have questions about that.”

In a March interview on The Megyn Kelly Show, Leavitt commented on her “atypical” relationship. “He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock,” she praised Riccio (per People). “He’s built a very successful business himself so now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career.”
The couple met when Leavitt was running for Congress in New Hampshire in 2022. While she won the Republican nomination, she ultimately lost the seat to Democrat Chris Pappas. Still, the campaign launched her career at the White House.
“A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband,” she recalled of meeting Riccio. “I was speaking. We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love.”

Leavitt admitted that she did have some hesitation about their age gap at first. “I mean it’s a very atypical love story but he’s incredible,” she said.
“He’s the father of my child and he’s the best dad I could ever ask for,” Leavitt continued. “And he is so supportive, especially during a very chaotic period of life… I say, ‘I walked into your life and it’s been a circus ever since,’ but God bless him because he’s fully on board.”
It comes after Leavitt was slammed for being a ‘pathetic liar’ as she raged at a CNN reporter live on air.
