Tesla has started ramping up deliveries of the 2026 Model Y “Juniper” refresh in Canada, with the company’s Coquitlam Service Center now filled to capacity with newly arrived units from Gigafactory Berlin. Photos shared by Tesla owners on Facebook show the rear lot packed with dozens of brand-new Model Ys, signaling that deliveries of the refreshed electric SUV are now well underway across the country.
This marks the next phase of Tesla’s rollout of Giga Berlin-built Model Ys in Canada, following the company’s first shipment from Germany, which landed in September. The automaker officially began handing over the new vehicles to customers in late October, with deliveries expected to ramp up in the coming weeks.

Tesla’s decision to import Model Ys for the Canadian market from Giga Berlin rather than from Giga Texas or Giga Shanghai is a strategic one. The move allows the automaker to sidestep steep new import tariffs — 100% on Chinese-made EVs and 25% on those built in the U.S. — that would otherwise make the Model Y significantly more expensive in Canada.
By pivoting to European production, Tesla has managed to keep prices competitive while maintaining strong availability. Earlier this year, the company slashed the price of the Model Y Long Range AWD by $20,000 CAD to $64,990, bringing it back under pre-tariff pricing levels. The more affordable Model Y Standard RWD trim, which debuted in Europe and the U.S. earlier this fall, could also be on its way to Canada soon as production scales up at Giga Berlin.
For now, the sight of Coquitlam’s lot brimming with 2026 Juniper Model Ys underscores how Tesla is accelerating deliveries of European-made vehicles to Canadian customers. The company appears to be preparing for a sustained delivery push through the remainder of the year as demand continues to climb.
