The high-stakes New Jersey governor election 2025 is on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, and voters are getting ready to head to their nearest polling place in NJ where votes will determine a winner between Democrat Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli.

Where can I go to vote for NJ governor? It’s not an uncommon question ahead of Election Day 2025 if your voting district changed in your county, you’ve done early voting or mail-in voting before, or you simply misplaced your sample ballot.
To find your polling place, you can use the NJ Division of Elections “Polling Place Search Tool” by putting in your address and zip code.

When is the last day to vote in NJ?
The last day to vote in NJ for governor is 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. This is when in-person voting concludes, as well as the deadline to hand in your mail-in ballot application to either a secure drop box or to your local County Elections Office.
Where am I registered to vote in NJ?
If you are unsure what county you are registered to vote in NJ, use “Voter Search” on the NJ Division of Elections page to search your voter registration record. You must input your first and last name and your date of birth, and the name has to match exactly to the county records. Have a space or hyphen in your name? McDonald may be entered as Mc Donald by the county, for example.
