Ellie Goldstein has been seen responding to a string of messages from her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars following her exit from the competition.
The model and actress became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the BBC One dance contest after landing in the dance-off for the first time during Sunday’s (November 2) results show.
It came after Ellie and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola made it through to week six of the popular programme, which just so happened to be Strictly’s annual Halloween special.
On Saturday night (November 1), they performed the tango to Lady Gaga’s Abracadabra in a magic-themed performance, which saw the model and actress pulling her dance partner, dressed as a bunny, out of a hat.
They were seen scoring a total of 27 points out of a possible 40 points from the judges, which left them at the dangerous end of the leaderboard.
It was then revealed during the results show that the pair had to fight for their place in the competition as they faced off against Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

After both performances, the judges delivered a unanimous verdict. Anton du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse all opted to save Balvinder and Julian.
Head Judge Shirley Ballas, who had this week’s casting vote, confirmed she would have made the same decision, though she praised Ellie’s efforts throughout the competition, calling her “outstanding”.
The emotional farewell saw host Tess Daly acknowledge the strength of Ellie and Vito’s partnership, telling Vito: “Everyone behind the scenes, everyone in front of the camera, everyone at home, can see what an incredible partnership you have had with Ellie and just how much it means to you.”
Vito responded with a heartfelt tribute to Ellie, calling her “a beautiful angel” and adding: “You’re my little sister forever, and your big brother is always by your side.” Ellie thanked Vito for his kindness and said she had “enjoyed it so much”.
Ellie and Vito have since been flooded with support, with Ellie seen responding to messages from Vicky Pattison and Amber Davies.

Vicky shared a picture of herself, Ellie and Vito and wrote on Instagram: “To The Cheeky Team, Where do I even begin??! I hope you know the amount of joy and light you have brought to this series!! Every week your dances have been a highlight for me and so many people at home! I hope you’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved!
“@elliejg16_zebedeemodel you are an inspiration to so many and I know for a fact you’ll have inspired a whole generation of little girls to be brave and bold and achieve all the beautiful things they want and deserve in life! God you’re both incredible! Rays of sunshine! And you’ll be missed both on and off the dance floor angels @vitocoppola.”
In response, Ellie wrote in the comments section of the post: “Thank you @vickypattison I will miss you [single tear crying emoji]. It’s be a fabulous experience.”
Amber also shared a picture of herself and Ellie posing backstage and wrote on Instagram: “My @elliejg16_zebedeemodel a ray of sunshine, I found a little sister in you – shine your light every where you go, you have brought so much love and joy into all our lives. I count my lucky stars you were brought into my life.
“@vitocoppola you are literally one in a million. I will always be TEAM CHEEKYS number one fan!!!!!” Commenting back, Ellie said: “@amb_d I will miss you [single tear crying emoji] so much. Thank you for being so kind and caring and wish you lots of amazing luck to you and @nikita__kuzmin.”
