Power restored to 1,700 PUC customers

The outage started today at about 11:50 a.m. due to an unknown cause

UPDATE

PUC says the power has been restored to all of its customers. 

Jairus Patterson, PUC’s manager of communications and customer relations, said the outage was caused by a tree falling across a power line on Allen Side Road.

Nearly 1,700 PUC customers are currently without power.

The outage started today at about 11:50 a.m. due to an unknown cause. 

It’s impacting people in the west end of the city and continues all the way up to Red Rock. 

PUC says the outage is impacting 1,693 customers.
