Will There Be A Chad Powers Season 2 On Hulu? Co-Creator Michael Waldron Weighs In
As of Monday, Oct. 27, Hulu had yet to official renew Chad Powers for a Season 2, but that’s not to say the show won’t return. So if given the opportunity to make more episodes, Waldron, Powell, and the team would love to continue!
“We always intended to have a cliffhanger,” Waldron told Decider. “And we’re working on it to try and make sure everything that happens next is is good and fulfilling.”

When Will Chad Powers Season 2 Premiere?

“We want to we want to make it on time, on schedule,” Waldron explained. “I don’t want this to be one of the shows that that people have to wait forever for. There’s only it’s only six half-hour episodes. It’s not a long thing. We don’t want to withhold any longer than we have to.”
So if Chad Powers Season 2 is green-lit in a timely manner, it sounds like fans could expect new episodes in 2026.
What Will Chad Powers Season 2 Be About?
Naturally, Chad Powers Season 2 would continue to follow Russ/Chad’s football career and Mrs. Doubtfire antics. We’d learn the result of the big Season 1 finale game, see how Coach Hudson recovers from his medical scare, and crucially, see how Ricky and Chad’s dynamic shifts following the Season 1 finale epiphany.
“If we’re lucky enough to get to make a Season 2, what’s clear is that whether she likes it or not, Ricky has been pulled into this conspiracy,” Waldron told Decider. “So it’s her, Russ, and Danny pulling off Chad Powers. And that’s a whole new, really fun dynamic. It’s gonna be a blast.”
