Nearly 100K tools recalled, sold at Home Depot

UNDATED (WKRC) – Thousands of Milwaukee products were recalled, with some being sold at Home Depot locations.
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Milwaukee Tool has issued a recall for its M18 FUEL Top Handle Chainsaw due to a potential laceration hazard.

The recall affects approximately 90,860 units in the U.S. and an additional 7,500 in Canada.
The chainsaw’s chain brake may not activate, posing a risk of injury. The recall involves catalog number 2826-20, identifiable by an “A” in the product’s serial number. The chainsaw, available with a 12-inch or 14-inch bar, is designed for use with Milwaukee’s M18 batteries.
Consumers are advised to stop using the chainsaw immediately and contact Milwaukee Tool for a free repair. Registration for repair can be completed at the company’s website. The firm has reported two incidents of the chain brake failing, including one injury involving a lacerated finger.
