Packers vs. Steelers inactives: 3 ruled out with injuries

The Green Bay Packers will go into Sunday Night Football without the following players due to injury: receiver Dontayvion Wicks (calf), defensive end Lukas Van Ness (foot) and defensive tackle Warren Brinson (hamstring). The good news is that receiver Matthew Golden (hip), receiver Christian Watson (knee), defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (knee) and kicker Brandon McManus (quad) will play for the Packers against the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight.
The defensive line and receiver unit will be very thin if those position groupings face even one more injury in-game against the Steelers. Keep an eye on that. The Packers go into this game with just five receivers, two of whom (Watson and rookie Savion Williams) will likely be on a pitch count. Assume you’re going to get a lot of Malik Heath, if Matthew Golden can’t play a full share of snaps.
At defensive tackle, the team goes into this one with just four bodies, including Wyatt, coming off a multi-week injury, and undrafted rookie Nazir Stackhouse, who has been used more as a situational defensive tackle than a rotational one. Defensive tackle is also having to make up reps following the Van Ness injury, as Van Ness typically played as the second defensive tackle in the team’s “Cheetah” packages.
