Ipswich drop a place to 10th in the Championship table after having to come from behind in a 1-1 draw with Watford.

Boss Kieran McKenna has been speaking to BBC Radio Suffolk:

“A frustrating result, I thought we did enough to win the game, had chances in the second half that on another day we should score.

“We were disappointed to concede the goal but the reaction to it was excellent and that’s a positive – we got ourselves in at half time in a decent spot and I thought in the second half we pushed on well.

“We created enough good chances to win the game.

On an on-field argument between Jaden Philogene and Azor Matusiwa:

“It’s just two people working really hard to win the game, you don’t want to give off the wrong perception with an argument on the pitch but it happens, you’d rather it happened in the dressing room.

“Both players are trying to help their team win the game so there’s no issue and we’ll move on.

“We spoke in there and the boys know – arguments happen all the time but it should happen behind closed doors and they’ll both learn from that.”
